PRESERVATION LEAGUE HONORS MARGARET L. WENDT TRUSTEES (10/05) The Martin House is just one of Western New York's landmark structures gaining new life thanks in part to the generosity of the Margaret L. Wendt Foundation. Trustees Thomas D. Lunt, Janet Lowe Day and Robert J. Kresse were honored with the Excellence in Historic Preservation Award by the Preservation League of Western New York this spring. In addition to the Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece, the foundation has supported the restoration of the prominent Arts and Crafts-style Roycroft Inn in East Aurora as well as the conversion of Buffalo's Delaware-Asbury Methodist Church into a concert/recording facility for local artist Ani DiFranco's Righteous Babe Records.
